We are people from various walks of life. Our ranks include attorneys, engineers, business owners, and college students. Some Reserve Deputies are seeking experience and taking a career "test drive" before pursuing full-time law enforcement careers. Others have chosen to maintain their existing careers while contributing their time to assist in serving the community. As a volunteer organization drawing from members of the community to fill our ranks, our demographics tend to span the complete spectrum of the County where we work.

When joining the organization, Reserve Deputies make a commitment that they will donate a minimum of 24 hours a month of patrol or other details plus mandatory training meetings.
